Combat Magnum is the preferred type of needles for most shading work especially large areas. The cartridges thanks to their design and have great Inkflow, which makes them ideal for packing color over larger areas and for shading large areas of skin. With the Combat Magnum cartridges, fewer passes over an area are needed to drive the paint in, which means less strain on the skin. This results in faster healing of the tattoo and a better end result.
