These Calor Style tapers are made with Medical Grade 304 Stainless Steel. They can be autoclaved and reused. Each taper is approximately 2″ in length and tapers down 2 gauges smaller than the listed size for easy insertions. For example, the 0g (8mm) taper at its thinnest point is approximately 4g (5mm).
Calor Style Tapers are thicker and recessed at the large end so you can fit the jewelry inside the taper; this makes for a seamless flow from taper to insertion of jewelry and helps to prevent slipping.
